Hello! If you're new to the idea of maternity photography, or perhaps even a little sceptical (I know I was!) keep reading and let me see if I can convince you that it's absolutely worth it.

A pregnancy photoshoot is for you, no matter whether or not you are:

fully in love with your pregnant body;
still not sure how you feel about the changes;
feeling superstitious about celebrating anything to do with your baby before his or her arrival;
feeling like you want to celebrate everything to do with your baby before his or her arrival;
pregnant for the first time;
pregnant for the second, third or tenth time;
having an easy pregnancy
having a complicated or worrying pregnancy

No matter the circumstances, I believe every single pregnancy is something incredible and each one is special enough to photograph.

Find out more about maternity photoshoots

Before the photoshoot, you will be given a link to your online maternity photoshoot handbook. On there, you'll find my booking form where you can pick a location, let me know what you might like to wear (anything is fine but I'm always here to advise), and answer a couple of questions about how you're feeling about your pregnancy and your body. You can also let me know whether it'll just be you in the photos, or your partner and/or any other children too.

During the photo shoot I will help you to relax and be as natural as you can. I won't boss you around, but I will gently direct you so that you are in the best light, and so your body is in the most flattering position. I tend to snap most of the best shots when you don't even know I'm pressing the button!

My style is timeless and tasteful: there will never be any dodgy outfits, no awkward posing, and no naked or underwear shots unless YOU specifically request them.

After the shoot, I will professionally edit the photos that you choose yourself from a large gallery of proofs. I will make the colours pop and the light look perfect.

You'll be between 30 and 40 weeks pregnant at the time of the session, though we can do an announcement photoshoot earlier on in a pregnancy if you have a scan photo.

I offer maternity photoshoots both in your own home or outdoors in and around Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

For a bespoke mobile studio session in your own home, please contact me for a quote. The mobile studio is only suitable for solo or couples portraits.
